Green Lane Madrassah has been established since 1980. We have always been passionate in delivering quality and authentic Islamic education to our youth in a fun and interactive way using modern teaching techniques. Our onsite madrassah has extensive waiting lists with over 400 students waiting to join.

Due to popular demand, we have now decided to expand our teaching online to give all those who wish to join our madrassah the opportunity. Qualified teachers, quality educational content and use of the best software possible will ensure that your child can learn in a seamless environment.

The social, moral, and spiritual needs of each child is of paramount importance to us, and so we aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who are model citizens and future leaders of our community.

Notable alumni of the Madrassah include Sheikh Ahsan Hanif, Sheikh Aqeel Mahmood, Ustadh Adil Saleem (Head of Dawah at GLM), the Head of Sister’s Tarbiyah, 5 current serving teachers at the Madrassah and the majority of the masjid’s trustees. A number of our students who completed their hifdh at our madrassah have also gone on to pursue further Islamic education in notable institutions abroad.

Nurturing the Muslim youth of the next generation through education.

Pure Hifdh

  • This specialised programme has been designed for the student who seeks to memorise the Quran intensively. Students in this programme focus solely on their memorisation for 2.5 hours every day.
  • The Pure Hifdh Programme consists of 3 Levels:
  • Level 1: Three Juzz are memorised
  • Level 2: The next 12 Juzz are memorised
  • Level 3: The last 15 Juzz are memorised.
  • NOTE: The Pure Hifdh Programme is not available to all students. We have set criteria that students must fulfil to gain successful admission onto the programme. The programme is rigorous and so we must assess each student’s objectives, ability and determination to keep up with the demands of daily memorisation.
"I am so happy with my children's progress and Islamic knowledge. They know the role model they need to become and I see the difference in their characters as a result of their attendance."
